Welcome to the official website of the International Congress on Domestic Animal Breeding, Genetics and Husbandry-2026 (ICABGEH-26), to be held on September 22 - 24, 2026, at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Atatürk Conference Center, Muğla, TÜRKİYE. The ICABGEH-26 will be a hybrid event comprising both physical and virtual conferences. Ondokuz Mayıs University, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, University of Szeged, and Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University organize the ICABGEH-26.

ICABGEH-26 is the tenth international event of a meeting series with the participation of top-rated invited speakers and an annual International Academic Conference covering the main fields of animal science. The mission of ICABGEH-26 is to provide a platform for researchers, academicians, and other professionals worldwide to present their research results in animal science (animal breeding, genetics, farming, nutrition) and related topics (veterinary science, aquaculture, and laboratory animals).

This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and experiences, establish business or research relations, and find partners for future collaboration. The goal of our conference is also to support, encourage, and provide a platform for young researchers to present their research, network with the international community of other young researchers, and seek the insight and advice of successful senior researchers during the conference. The language of the conference is English. We welcome paper submissions, and prospective authors are invited to submit original research or reviews.

To participate in the congress through oral, virtual (online), or poster presentations, firstly, "REGISTER" for the ICABGEH-26 online system. After registration, please submit abstract/s of your presentation/s. Abstract/s must be submitted through the online "ABSTRACT SUBMISSION" system before September 01, 2026. The abstract's text is at least 150 words and must not exceed 450 words.

 

Presentation(s) acceptance will be made after the peer review process, approximately five days after submitting the abstract/s.

 

The deadline for early transferring the participation fee is April 30, 2026. If the author(s) request, full texts of presentation(s) will be published in the Black Sea Journal of Agriculture or the Black Sea Journal of Engineering and Science.

Muğla is one of the oldest settlements of the Antique Caria area. It welcomed not only local Anatolian people, the Carias, but also the Egyptians, the Assyrians, the Scythians, the Meds, and the Persians. It’s believed that the name Caria comes from a commander whose name was Car and who was the leader of the tribes coming to the area in 3400 BC. Muğla became an Ottoman City in 1391 when it was conquered by Beyazıt I. But this didn’t last for a long time. In 1402, Timor conquered the city. In 1425, Murat II retook it, and then it definitely became an Ottoman city. In 1919, Muğla was occupied by Italy. In 1921, the Italians left the city, and it was liberated. Muğla is a rich city with historic ruins, and there are 103 ruins inside the city. There are a lot of places to see in Muğla, including nice beaches and historical sites. Muğla is a city of history and natural beauty.

Dalaman Airport is located in the Turkish Riviera, which is one of the most attractive tourist regions in Türkiye and the Mediterranean, offering a wide range of cultural, sports, and entertainment activities. Precisely, Dalaman International Airport is located in Türkiye’s Muğla province, and it is the 6th busiest airport in Türkiye and the 5th busiest airport in terms of international passengers, due to its proximity to major tourist regions (Dalaman, Fethiye, Ölüdeniz, Marmaris). In 2024, the airport welcomed 5.6 million passengers.
