Bozüyük is a neighborhood within the Yatağan district of Muğla province. It boasts an 800-year-old monumental plane tree. It is famous for its Bozüyük Spring, a natural spring emerging from a depth of 87 meters, and its historic houses. Its population is 1,060. It serves keşkek (a type of stew), pilaf (a kind of rice dish), and kapama (a type of stew). It was a sub-district between 1486 and 1532. It became a district between 1562 and 1880, and was re-established as a sub-district between 1880 and 1924.

Stratonikeia, which has hosted civilizations from antiquity to modern times, is one of the most significant archaeological sites in Asia Minor and boasts unique characteristics. The city continued to develop during the Classical, Hellenistic, and Roman Imperial periods, gradually becoming a center of trade, art, and culture. Today, it is a significant and unique example of a settlement that retains the characteristics of different civilizations, successfully preserves its main structure, and presents an entire picture.
